had my doctor's appointment today and it went well! I think I confused people with the ultrasound statement - I don't get it until the next visit! I had to have this visit in order to make that appointment. So February 22nd at 3:15 p.m. we will find out what our baby is!! I'm so excited because these last 4 weeks seemed to have flown by, so I'm hoping the next 4 do as well.
The baby is doing great - 156 b.p.m. Pretty consistent. I also felt it move!! This time it was for real. I have questioned it for about a week now, but when I tried to listen to the heartbeat with the Doppler at work, I must've pushed directly on the baby and it literally punched back! I told my doctor about it and he said it's actually common for that to happen. The movements I feel are few and far between right now, but still very exciting when they happen. I've only gained about a total of 1 pound since getting pregnant - but I'm up 3 since my last visit so I think I'm on my way and so does my doctor.

Glad to hear you are gaining weight. The movement of the baby is so exciting and fun. Enjoy the whole process.
