YIKES!
Where has the time gone?? I cannot believe how long it has been since I last updated. I have new pictures, but unfortunately my nearly decade old camera is really no longer working and I can't get them off the camera and onto the computer. We do have a new one coming, (soon!), and pictures will be following! There are lots of celebrations coming up -- July 4th, Hall Reunion, 2nd Birthday! So there will definitely be pictures to share.
I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July! We will update after next week and before we head off for the big Europe trip. (With even MORE pictures following after that one!!)

Trains! Trains! They're everywhere!! Oliver has a love for trains that is surpassing all previous loves before. He puts them together and yells "Choo! Choo!" He is *very* proud of these trains. He wants you to sit marvel at their greatness with him. They've also helped him to count! We will count how many cars are on each train, and tonight he counted to five all by himself. :) I'm a proud momma!!

I am so bad at this!! I have no excuses, I simply ask for your forgiveness. I probably have no one left reading but my mom!!! LOL I will try to be better at updating this.
So much is going on in Oliver's life, I need to document it. He got his 2nd haircut, and he learns so many new words everyday. But it's not just words, it's concepts too. He has started saying 'Thank You' without being told to after being given something. He gets "it"... sometimes! He was looking at a picture the other day, a painting of the Creation, and he's always recognized the stars, but then he looked at me and said "moon! water!" He got it! He has an animal book that makes noises, and he has them memorized in order. He'll tell you which animal is coming next before you turn the page.
Today was just one of those days where every moment was precious. Yes we had timeouts and a couple of fits, but even those were precious. The love I feel for him just pours out of me somedays and its days like today when I wish I could bottle these memories/feelings/emotions up and save them forever. Seriously. AH! It (motherhood) is still too much to take sometimes. It's so intense!

Happy Snow Days!! We've been snowed in for 2 days with no work and no school. I always love these days and try to make the most of them, rather than using them to get things checked off the to-do list. (Though I should try to do that a little bit too!! Lord knows I need to get a few things done...) We've eaten LOTS of junk food, watched several movies (Aladdin and Monsters Inc. are becoming favorites for Ollie) and have stayed up late, slept in and just had some great family time. We're getting a little itchy to get out now, but did have some fun in the snow for a while this morning.
This is Gus, our neighbors dog. He loves the snow!!

We were (are) having some problems with our computer recognizing our camera, but I found a way around it, at least for now. It just involves 20 more steps and takes a lot longer!! Really we just need to bite the bullet and get a new camera, this one is 5 years old. :-)
Hope you enjoy the new pictures -- Cooper, our new dog, *loves* water! And every night we have to hold him back at least once from jumping in the tub. We let him this one night and he just got the biggest thrill out of it, and so did Ollie.
